I had a great weekend at the Malanda Show [6,7 & 8th] with my daughter, Jessie and one of my team Kellie. We arrived at the show hall and set up on Friday about 9 and was finished by 11... we had a fine time deciding what to display, changing things around till they looked ok. 


The country people are warm and welcoming, most stopping to have a look and admire the items on display. One Chap even remembered seeing the stall last year, he said this year's one was great; we learnt from what we did last year which wasn't really planned, my sister and I had never done anything like it before so it was a BIG learning curve; this year I went in with an idea to theme the colours and projects...the result is ...well you be the judge. 

Unfortunately the lights behind the pelmets made the photo too light at the top ... I did edit it in  Picassa so it may not look too bad, you be the judge and let me know your thoughts on this as well.  [note to self:-fold over the sheet to blacken the light more!!! or think of another way to make it darker at the top or use a thicker sheet!!!]

So that I didn't nod off [I had a busy two weeks leading up to the show making things to display for it as well as the Post Office in the village at home] so I was a tat tired, anyway I decided to take up more of the tins  to finish and I'm happy to say  here are the photos, of three more tins.




The colours aren't what they seem in this photo the daubing on the brownish flowers is not true to colour the green is Always Artichoke as is the ribbon, and the blue is Bashful Blue and the other is Crumb Cake!!! [daubed with same ink]  colour scheme is from Colour Coach.

This tin has the colour scheme of River Rock and Tangerine Tango with a little Artichoke  on the side. I love this colour scheme, aside from pinks and blues!!!

and this was the last tin I finished, there are still two left to do, this colour scheme is Baja Breeze and Bravo Burgundy.

ps some of the items in the display are swaps from Convention and some are presents, the Butterfly frame with light blue background was the gift from Stampin' Up! at the Managers Reception, Convention last month.


The tin with flowers on top, and some of the flowers on the table are made by Cherre one of the Paper Belles team girls, it was  my roomie gift
