For the Teacher

Hi, I created this card for my youngest son's teacher who was married on the first weekend of the last holidays, I know a tad late, but...while I was in the class room on Tuesday afternoon, I noticed a photo of her in her wedding dress, and so  I created this look ... there was a fine trim on her dress, which is why I have the colour trim on the card. Reuben said "Miss liked the card and thought we bought it from the shop, but I told her you MADE it for her!!!" aren't children precious?

Double Embossing

Can't believe it is Wednesday again. Here are two cards I made for a class on Double Embossing.
I used So Saffron and Marina Mist CS with a retired DSP-Botanical Gazette from a Past Mini catalogue. The Technique is simple, first, using Versamark, rub over the Embossing Folder, then place the DSP and run through the Big Shot. Add Gold Embossing Powder, heat and there you have it-Double Embossing! you will notice that the images are different, one was done on the positive side of the folder and the other on the negative side...the look is dependent on your personal preference.

Have fun experimenting, come back soon
cheers
